THE EGYPTIANS YOU SEE TODAY, YOU MAY LIKELY SEE AGAIN

“Your mind must arrive at the destination before your life does” – Vybe Source.
I am certain that most of us are very familiar with this quote in the Bible “The Egyptians you see today you will never see again” (Exodus 14 vs 13) But i have noticed that we keep seeing these Egyptians at every turn in our lives, some persons are not just seeing the Egyptians but have gone a step further to see Pharaoh and the Egyptian Mummy. Does it  mean that the word of God is not coming true/ through in our lives?.
I would like to begin with the many resolutions that most of us make every December 31st only to realize by half year of the new year that we have failed in every single resolution,(Study shows that only 8% of the people who set yearly goals achieve same. 92% dont.) We even realize that we have added more terrible habits and are now worse off than we were when we made those resolutions (I am sure many of us are already making some Covid-19 induced resolutions). I strongly believe that what happens when we descend from the mountain is also as important as what happens on the mountain but many people fail to prepare for Life after the mountain.
What do we then do to ensure that we see these Egyptians no more? The honest truth is that “You cannot be running within while standing without” which simply means that you have a role to play for your expected outcomes to materialize.  Lets take a second to go back to the bible to find out if there are conditions upon which these Egyptians will go away for ever. “Moses said to the people, Do not be afraid! stand firm and you will see what the lord will do to rescue you today” (Exodus 14 vs 13) Did you notice that as simple as the instruction may sound, you are still required to stand firm and not be afraid? This brings me to the main reason for this piece which is that a lot of us are not able to create the future we desire and so we struggle every second, minute, day, week, month and year just to get by.
“You can’t predict the future, but you can create it” – Peter Drucker.  I tell you this my dear friends, until you begin to create your own future, you will continue to miss the mark. The process of creating the your future starts today with decisions, goals and objectives. These need to be crystal-clear, then you need to determine the actions that must be taken today to achieve these objectives in the future. There is however the danger in assuming that today’s trends, whatever they are, will continue into the future. We must focus on the goals first and then consider what we face today and take the necessary actions that will point us toward reaching those goals in the future. As we progress, the environment and  conditions are going to change, we cant predict these changes. in fact, if we hold to those initial actions and stay the course, We’re never going to reach the future we are intent on creating. So we must be dynamic and review our goals periodically in line with current realities.
Furthermore, to create the future we desire, we must have seen this future with our mind’s eye as this is the fastest means of achieving our future goals. (Remember the theory of Psycho cybernetics as well as the power of visualization previously dealt with in one of my write ups ?)
“If you can imagine it, you can achieve it, if you can dream it, you can become it”- William Arthur Ward
“If you can dream it, you can do it” – Walt Disney
“Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve” – Napoleon Hill.
I therefore encourage you today not to try predicting the future but to create it by first seeing it with your mind’s eye and then taking daily actions that will guarantee that the Egyptians you see today, you will never see again.
Remember, If not you, who? If not now, when? if not here, where?.
Think. Create. Grow.
